Apple TV 2.3.1 Update

Boxee, the popular “off label” multimedia and TV software for the Mac, has been on the receiving end of some battering of late. First, the clueless boobs at Hulu demanded that their service be removed from the software (a hack quickly surfaced for adding it back in) and now Apple has the dealt the application a blow, as well.

AppleInsider reports that the just released Apple TV 2.31 Update breaks Boxee. This isn’t the first time and, like previous instances, this outage will likely prove to be very short lived.
The easiest way to avoid the issue is to disable automatic updating via Apple TV preferences.
