Run a Mac Plus in emulation on your iPhone
Do you remember your first Mac? Mine was a Color Classic II with a 1MB of RAM and an 80MB hard drive. It was pretty effing sweet and I get a warm fuzzy feeling just thinking about it. Armor Alley, HyperCard and ClarisWorks… life was simpler (and more crash prone) back then.
Well, according to this 9 to 5 Mac write up, whether you’re an olderster looking to relive or a relative youngling with a taste for history, you can run a Mac Plus in emulation on your iPhone.
Yes, of course, you will need to jailbreak your iPhone to perform this magic.
Still, isn’t that just crazy? A handheld computer that has all of the juice (and then some) of yesteryear’s top shelf computers.
Well, we might be in or heading for an economic depression, but at least we’ll be computing with (relative) grace and style…
What’s your take?
