Is Apple really green?

The mothership has been touting it green cred of late. From the its new more enviro friendly designs to the extensive advertising campaign touting those products, the company is working hard to position itself as a leader in this space. But how much of this effort is smoke and how much is really fire in the belly save the planet reality?

Though we’re unlikely to get a definitive answer to this question, Macworld UK is running a series of three IDC-inspired articles on just how green Apple really is:

How green is Apple: Good citizenship or good business?
How green is Apple: Cleaning the supply chain
How green is Apple: Where does the e-waste go?

Yup, there is some real journalism in there and there’s some real boilerplate in there, too. Nevertheless, rarely is more information a bad thing in and of itself. Dig in!
