You won’t find an announcement for the new version on the iCab website, at least you couldn’t when this went to press, but the best browser for the iPhone and iPod touch has received a significant upgrade.

iCab Mobile 1.5 (iTunes, $1.99) is available for download and includes a large number of updated and new features:

• Export bookmarks to your Mac (requires wi-fi connection)

• You can configure iCab to ask where to open new links (ie new tab, new window, etc)
— Easier to close multiple tabs

• Saved form data can now be password protected

• Fullscreen mode now includes an activity indicator (yeah!)
— In addition to shaking, you can now leave full screen by double tapping

• Auto-rotation can now be switched off

• Many other fixes and minor feature tweaks

iCab Mobile 1.5 is free for existing owners and just $1.99 for everyone else. Get your copy of iCab Mobile 1.5 (iTunes), the browser for iPhone and iPod touch with porn mode (aka private browsing), today.
