NeoOffice 3.0 Patch 4: Menu, shortcut slowdown fixed
Planamesa has announced the release of NeoOffice 3.0 Patch 4, which addresses an annoying issue affecting menubar and shortcut display.
As a result of a fix for a critical crashing bug in NeoOffice 3.0 Patch 2 … some users reported a delay of up to a second or more after clicking on the menubar or typing a menu shortcut. After much work on NeoOffice’s Mac OS X menu handling code, we were able to regain the lost speed without causing any critical crashing bugs to reappear. As a result of this work, in NeoOffice 3.0 Patch 4 … we have significantly improved menu display speed.
Further Patch 4 also addresses the following issues:
• Fixed a bug where cropped EPS images did not appear in slide shows
• Fixed a problem where the Media Browser cannot keep focus when Java 1.4 is used
• Fixed an issue where NeoOffice could crash after pressing Command-Z
