Adobe releases Acrobat, Reader patches [u]
Adobe has released security patches for its Acrobat 9.1.x .pdf creation + management application, as well as Acrobat Reader 9.1x. As this went to press, Adobe had yet to post the updaters to their downloads page, but they’ve since put up the download links
so you’ll need to download and install via the company’s Adobe Updater application.
That said Acrobat and Reader 9.1.3 patch “critical security vulnerabilities while providing more stability.”
You might want to wait
Having been burned by a late Friday afternoon Adobe software patch before, call me once bitten and twice shy. Thereupon, I don’t have any special inside information about this particular update other than to say that updating on a Friday could leave your Macs and/or software useless over the weekend and then for however long it takes the vendor to fix the problem.
Word to the wise…

Adobe sucks.
Flash sucks big time.
There is no reason that Flash won’t run well on a Mac like it does on Windows. But it does not.
Because Flash sucks and is not an open standard, I am glad Flash is NOT on the iPhone.
Soon, Flash will become irrelevant.
