NetNewsWire 3.2b6 adds Google Reader syncing,
iPhone update coming

Adobe Photoshop Elements 7For those that are tuned in to its benefits, RSS (really simply syndication) is a great way to get, read and process news—there’s really no more efficient way to digest huge amounts of information.

That said, the lads at NewsGator have announced the release of NetNewsWire 3.2 beta 6, which is described as a minor update along the road to version 4.0 and that work’s been started, too.

Feature changes in this release:

• Google Reader syncing
• NewsGator syncing removed
• DotMac/FTP syncing removed
• A minor upgrade on the road to v4.0 (already underway)

In related news, NewsGator reports that NetNewsWire 2.0 for iPhone is underdevelopment and will include Google Reader integration, as well. However, aside from saying they’re ‘working as quickly’ as they can, there’s no word on when it will ultimately ship.
