Games: Adult Swim’s ‘Five minutes to kill (yourself)’ lands

This is perhaps an amusement that certain children and adults — stay on your medication (and that includes me), death isn’t a game — shouldn’t be allowed to play this title unsupervised. However, for those with thick skin and hell bent desire on practicing their First and 11th (right to be stupid) Amendment rights, Adult Swim’s popular suicide app is now available for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Artificial Life has announced the successful collaboration with Adult Swim Games in bringing Five Minutes to Kill (Yourself) (iTunes, $2.99), the extremely popular online game, to the iTunes App Store for the iPhone and iPod touch.

“We are excited to have teamed up with Adult Swim on another iPhone game to expand their iPhone product portfolio after our previous successful collaboration on Amateur Surgeon. With the addition of Five Minutes to Kill (Yourself), Adult Swim fans can enjoy another installment of wacky, edgy gaming on the iPhone,” said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO, Artificial Life.

Features include:

• Easy-to-use controls makes killing yourself a delight
• A three-storey office for you to explore and discover the most efficient ways to kill yourself
• Ordinary office supplies and equipments which help you to die in extraordinary ways
• Provoke co-workers by using small talk that’s as rude and offensive as possible!
• Challenge friends or even a stranger in a race to the death in the multiplayer mode
• Taunt your Facebook friends with your score showing how well you managed to end your life

Artificial Life and Adult Swim previously partnered for Amateur Surgeon (iTunes, $2.99), in December, 2008, which hit the iTunes App Store Top 5.

In related news, EA Mobile has added five titles for the iPhone and iPod touch — NBA Live ($9.99), EA Sports FIFA 10 ($9.99), Mystery Mania ($1.99), Boggle ($2.99) and Command & Conquer Red Alert ($9.99) — all links open in iTunes.
