Latest OS X 10.6.2 [10C540] seed doesn’t support Atom?
This whole affair is turning into a soap opera, which now apparently features a conspiracy as the screen cap “proving” that Intel Atom processor support had been returned to OS X 10.6.2 update was apparently faked. Here we go around and around again?

MacRumors, quoting stellarola, reports that earlier reports that support for Intel Atom processors, used in the vast majority of netbooks in the world, had returned to OS X 10.6.2 with the arrival of Build 10C540 are wrong. Put more succinctly, evidence used to substantiate that claim was faked — OS X 10.6.2 is still a netbook killer.
In case you missed it, the MSI Wind netbook shown in the video above tries, but can’t boot OS X 10.6.2, which is where the story first got legs about a week ago.
Regardless of how this shabby affair ultimately turns, it’s pretty clear we’re getting played with the questions of who planted the fake screen shot showing that Atom support had returned to OS X 10.6.2 in build 10C535 and why they did it?

Or perhaps it is crashing on boot? I would expect that you’d never get to the logo screen if ATOM support was gone. It’s not like this ‘loop rebooting’ hasn’t happened before, and with APPLE hardware. I’ll wait to hear from someone who actually tries to investigate the issue instead of adding to ‘click fodder’.
