Hints of OpenGL 3.0 support found in OS X 10.6.3

Whereas the OpenGL 3.1 has been out since last Summer, Apple has to embrace the three-point-oh release, which hit the streets way, way back in 2008.

Now, Netkas has found evidence that Apple’s working bake OpenGL support into Snow Leopard, perhaps even into OS X 10.6.3 update’s final code.

Hopefully, we can soon expect full OpenGL 3.x support, including an optimized game editor, so games on the Mac can take full advantage of current graphics cards, which do support OpenGL 3.x, instead of what we’ve got now…
