Apple’s next Snow Leopard maintenance release lumbers toward completion with a fresh developer seed. This particular build, 10D538, arrives with improved OpenGL 3.x support and just one known issue.
AppleInsider reports that the mothership has seeded Mac OS X 10.6.3 10D538 to developers who in turn report that that QuickTime X and Logic Pro improvements are evident, and that improved third-party printer, OpenGL, Airport, VoiceOver and graphic driver support is brewing, too.
Mac OS X 10.6.3 10D538 is the third broadly seeded developer release. At over 665MB and with just one known issue, Apple is likely working to tie up loose ends and it’s speculated final code will be in user hands within the next six weeks.
