Was this inevitable? Many folks have cursed Apple for not including mouse drivers with the iPad, but rest of us know the company will never include mouse support — that would be “wrong.” For those using the iPad as a notebook replacement, toting around a Bluetooth keyboard, the idea is hardly radical.

Set to There Goes My Love (iTunes), a rousing little number by The Blue Van, check out the Redmond Pie demo of their BTstack application, which makes it possible to use Apple’s Bluetooth Magic Mouse with a jailbroken (there had to be a catch) iPad.

So, am I going to jailbreak my iPad? Probably not until I’ve got a proper iPad + Bluetooth keyboard + Bluetooth mouse carrying apparatus. That said, a valuable Bluetooth mouse getting jostled, loose and fancy free, to death in the bottom of my bag.

Further, I get secret jollies from letting Apple mold and reshape my workflow…
