Acrobat, Reader 9.3.3 patch zero-day exploit [u]

Adobe Photoshop Elements 8Back on June 6, it was announced yet another Flash/Acrobat zero-day exploit was found, not in some researcher’s lab but out and about on the interwebs. Five days later, Adobe released a Flash patch. Now, piczilla has gotten round to patching this issue in their ubiquitous PDF basic PDF display and editing app.

Acrobat Reader 9.3.3 (release notes) is now available and is said to bring “enhancements for security (including a zero-day fix), performance enhancements, bug fixes, improved browser support, and Updater improvements.”

[u] Additionally, Adobe’s now released Acrobat Pro 9.3.3, as well, which addresses the same zero-day exploit.
