Apple began testing this update nearly eight weeks about with the most recent developer seed arriving last week — she’s baked long enough. In addition to the usual array of client, server and security bubble pack updates, Apple’s also shipping mid-2010 Mac mini-specific updaters.

Apple has posted Mac OS X v10.6.4 Update (Combo) (887.37MB), which is one massive update and, surprisingly for its size, doesn’t appear to include any substantive new features or tweaks.

These are the top issues covered:

• Resolved an issue that causes the keyboard or trackpad to become unresponsive
• Resolved an issue that may prevent some Creative Suite 3 apps from opening
• Address issues copying, renaming, or deleting files on SMB file servers
• Improved reliability of VPN connections
• Resolved a playback issue in DVD Player when using Good Quality deinterlacing
• Resolved an issue editing photos with iPhoto or Aperture in full screen view
• Improved compatibility with some braille displays

And, yes, OS X 10.6.4 is available in the following fruity flavors:

Mac OS X v10.6.4 Update
Mac OS X Server v10.6.4 Update
Mac OS X Server v10.6.4 Update (Combo)
Mac OS X v10.6.4 Update Mac mini (Mid 2010)
Mac OS X Server v10.6.4 Update Mac mini (Mid 2010)

Plus, Apple’s also offering Security Update 2010-004 (Leopard-Server) and Security Update 2010-004 (Leopard-Client).

Taken altogether, this is enough excitement for one day.
