The lads and ladettes at Mozilla have been busy, busy, busy of late pushing out updated versions of their popular open source web and email clients. Earlier in the week, Firefox 3.6.3 hit the streets and that’s been quickly followed by final code for Thunderbird 3.1 (release notes, 18.7MB), which offers faster search Results, quick filter toolbar, migration assistant, saved files manager and account setup wizard.
Meanwhile, SeaMonkey 2.0.5 (release notes, 22 MB) addresses a number of security issues, as well as a number of non-security-relevant crashes, increasing the stability of the whole platform and the Mail & Newsgroups part of the app.
