VLC Player 1.1.2: Squishes more bugs

Development of the best-loved open-source video playback app, and codec set with the juicy center, has gained speed over recent months, and that’s a good thing™. VideoLan.org has pushed out another maintenance release full of small fixes and improvements over the last point update. VLC Player 1.1.2 (release notes) comes to market with the following fixes and tweaks:

• Extensions and scrips updates
• Miscellaneous fixes in interfaces
• Updated translations
• Various crashes and errors fixed
• TS and DVB demuxing fixes
• Audio filters fixes to solve the “mono” bug
• Fix of the direct3d output module that display nothing on older nVidia and ATI cards, when overlay was activated
