iPad: China’s Xinhua going [more] mobile

25 October 2010 1,500 views No Comment

China’s official Xinhua News Network Corporation has announced that they’re offering their Chinese and World Channel broadcasts via a free iPad app distributed via the iTunes App Store. Wu Jincai, CNC president and deputy editor-in-chief of Xinhua News Agency, said that the move was an important step of the agency’s strategy to promote the CNC’s TV, computer and mobile device broadcasts of the unvarnished, doe-eyed truth (goodness she has beautiful eyes).

That said, CNC’s Chinese and World channels have been available free to iPhone users for about a month.

Thereupon, if it’s PRC programming you want, TVUPlayer for iPad (review, $4.99) delivers a range of CCTV and ZZX broadcasts, including local content from Hebei, Hubei, Chengdu and Gansu provinces.
