I buy and sell Apple gear on Craigslist and eBay. With one to a dozen or more different products on my workbench and/or for sale on any given day, it’s more than nice — necessary perhaps doesn’t cover it — to have a single encyclopedic reference to the Macs, iPods, iPads, input devices, etc.

While awaiting the release notes for v5.2.2, I saw that Ian Page had pushed out MacTracker 5.2.3, which puts a thumb to a couple bugs. Thereupon, the cumulative changes for these two versions of his detailed compendium on pretty much every product Apple has ever made include:

• [Fix] An issue where “My Models” entries would not display properly for the iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2009) and iMac (27-inch, Late 2009)
• [Fix] An issue with the “mactracker://” URI scheme and receiving Apple Events

• Adds Mac Pro (Mid 2010)
• Adds iMac (27-inch, Mid 2010)
• Adds iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2010)
• Adds iPod shuffle (4th generation)
• Adds iPod nano (6th generation)
• Adds iPod touch (4th generation)
• Adds LED Cinema Display (27-inch)
• Adds Apple TV (2nd generation)
• Adds Magic Trackpad
• Updates Support Status for Apple’s latest vintage and obsolete products
