OmniWeb 5.10.2 addresses a score o’ issues [u]
OmniGroup last updated their WebKit-based browser way, way, way back in August of 2009. Nevertheless, this web client has staunch fans and they are stoked that a fresh release is now available — a score of bugs and fixes for the faithful. Though you probably won’t have any trouble remembering who they are, Mozilla has Firefox and Thunderbird dot-fixes, too.
“Just a quick note to let you know that we’re happy to announce OmniWeb 5.10.2,” writes OmniGroup’s “Troy.” “We’ve been quiet on the OmniWeb side of things for a while now but there have been a number of improvements we’d like to share.”
Changes include improved compatibility with sites that use browser detection and that contain unicode characters in the URL, as well as some Snow Leopard-specific issues such as print dialog, tab drawer and cookie session problems.
OmniWeb 5.10.2 (release notes) requires Mac OS X 10.4.8 or later and can be download here, available in international and English-only versions.
Mozilla has updates, too
Firefox 3.6.12 (release notes, 19MB) fixes a critical security issue that could potentially allow remote code execution. For its part, Thunderbird 3.1.5 (release notes, 20.7MB) likewise offers security, as well as performance and stability fixes.
[u] And, if you’re a Mozilla all-in-one user, get SeaMonkey 2.0.10.

OmniWeb still my favorite Mac OS X browser!!
