Firefox 4 b10: Flash stability boost, more

First it was Septemberish. Then November 2010 turned into early 2011 and now it’s almost February. In other words, never underestimate Mozilla’s ability to push out and stretch an anticipated ship date. Nevertheless, there is yet another Firefox beta release and has an important Flash-related fix for users of the fairer platform.

Months after beta 8, which was supposed to the final prerelease, Mozilla’s delivered Firefox 4 b10, which delivers a small number of tweaks that are nonetheless important.

What’s new:

• Improvements in memory usage
• Support for a graphics driver blacklist to improve stability
• Compatibilty and stability improvements when using Adobe Flash on Mac OS X
