FaceTime 1.0.2: Better fullscreen performance

When Apple announced the inclusion of this peer-to-peer video calling service in the iPhone and iPod touch, there were more than a few yawns. Although some are still less than enthused, FaceTime has been extended to the Mac and the mothership seems intent on making the service a success.

FaceTime 1.0.2 (Mac App Store, free) offers one change — improved performance when it’s in fullscreen mode.

Yes, you can FaceTime with compatible idevices, as well as other Macs, though there’s still no chat or file transfer functionality — looking forward to feature parity with Skype et al.
