Death Worm: My 10 year old loves it

If it was raining on a Saturday afternoon when I was a kid, then Godzilla was definitely on my mind. Fast forward a few years and kids generally aren’t too keen on watching “some guy in a big rubber suit” — c’est la vie. However, boys still have an insatiable appetite for destruction.

Do you have a “tween” boy? Then there’s a pretty good chance he’ll love Death Worm (iTunes, $0.99), That is, my 10-year-old boy went to a birthday on Saturday and came home wanting this game and hasn’t put it down since.

Control the mind-boggling underground monster with your finger! Eat people, animals and birds, blow up cars and tanks, bring down planes and helicopters, defeat the army and even the aliens!

With over 2,000,000 of downloads, Death Worm is one of the all-time top selling indie games and it plays just fine on my son’s first-generation iPod touch. And, again, Death Worm only costs $0.99 — kind of hard to go wrong.

And, best of all? It plays very well on my iPad…
