Aperture 3.1.3 adds Lion fullscreen mode

It’s Lion day, or at least we hope it’s Lion day. Thereupon, the mothership has been busy pushing out appropriately flavored software updates with the latest being Aperture 3.1.3. At 292.02MB this no lightweight patch and, in addition to Lion fullscreen mode, it comes to market chock full o’ fixes and feature tweaks:

• Crop tool now correctly supports use of gestures to define crop size
• Gesture support can now be enabled or disabled in Preferences

• Published MobileMe, Facebook and Flickr albums now appear in a Web section in the Projects Inspector
• Shift-clicking snapshots on the Faces corkboard now allows you to make contiguous selections
• Metadata presets are now correctly applied to imported audio files
• Fixes an issue that could cause Aperture to quit unexpectedly when
trimming audio in full screen mode
• Resolves various issues when adding names to Faces using accented, Japanese, Korean or Simplified Chinese characters
• Improves stability when browsing video clips
• Addresses reliability of library repair and rebuild

Additionally, Apple on Monday refreshed its full iLife suite with the release of separate iPhoto, iMovie, Garageband, iDVD and iWeb flavored with Lion goodness.

    I wonder just how different “Lion full-screen mode” is compared to the full-screen mode that Aperture 3 has had from the beginning (type F to enter/leave full-screen mode).
