Need some numbers to crunch? In addition to limited data in the press release, Apple also provides a table of product unit volume and revenue figures. Not a big mouthful, mind you, but enough to keep us chewing until the 10K statement is filed.

Yesterday, Apple announced its 2011 Q3 fiscal results and, yes, the company once again set new records for revenues, profit and individual product unit volumes. Both the iPhone and iPad scored triple digit gains.

Apple COO Tim Cook stated more than once that the company is now selling more than twice as many iPads as Macs. Moreover, that ratio holds in the education segment, as well, which is quite a feat given Apple’s traditional strength there and that the iPad has been available for just five quarters.

Thereupon, if you’re a numbers geek, Apple’s Q3 2011 Unaudited Summary Data (image above) offers a snapshot of the data underlying the company’s latest record quarter.

Any surprises in the 2011 Q3 fiscal results for you?
