Reeder 1.1 gains Lion fullscreen, save to Evernote

Apple’s latest big cat has meant big changes for this long-time Mac user. Gone are Photoshop, NetNewsWire and Google Chrome has been put on suspension. Thereupon, Acorn’s now my image editor, Firefox is back in the starting lineup and Reeder has filled the RSS spot.
Silvia Rizzi has released a Lion flavored update of his excellent RSS client for the Mac. Reeder 1.1 (App Store, $9.99) doesn’t completely square this app with OS X 10.7′s new features, but ticks the box on one while adding new functionality:

• Save to Evernote
• Improved Readability viewer
• Improved scrolling performance (Lion)
App author Silvia Rizzi also adds, “There are currently some issues with the swipe gestures when using Reeder on Lion.”
