GraphicConverter 7.3.1 adds Lion fullscreen, more

Since the ’90s, I’ve kept two image editors on my Macs: Photoshop, recently replaced by Acorn, and this app. With the ability to open about 200 file formats and save another 80, as well as an excellent slideshow feature, GraphicConverter is a must-have Mac app.
Lemkesoft has released GraphicConverter 7.3.1 (release notes), a point update that packs dozens of features, tweaks and bug fixes:
• added option to select dimension of picture information
• added option to ignore previews in resource fork
• added option to disable auto save and versioning on Lion
• added option reduce to printer resolution
• display of location data in gps window added
• action to transfer panasonic location data to IPTC/XMP added
• option to darken unselected parts of an image added
• reintroduced Fullscreen display command under Lion
• a dozen more new features, tweaks
• Bug fixes
GraphicConverter 7.3.1 is available is a free update for registered users and a full license can be purchased on Mac App Store ($38.99).

I used to be a devotee of GraphicConverter, but of late I’ve switched allegiance to Photoline. It’s just as fast, supports more file formats (!), runs cross-platform, and is a more useful all-round program.
