HP, Samsung, Brother printer drivers updated for Lion

Coupons. We have a rather nice Kodak 5300 printer, the brand with the “cheap” ink, and pretty much the only thing we print are coupons. Yes, we use ink that costs somewhere North of $2,000 a gallon to save a buck on a bottle of Snuggle fabric softener — not complaining, just saying.

Anyway, even without a specific update, our Kodak scans and prints just fine. And, now, if you’ve got a supported HP, Samsung or Brother printer, now you can print fine, scan and what not, too.

I suspect the real news here is the printer that didn’t make the cut. No, I don’t have a list or even an inkling of what’s been cut. However, if I were a printer manufacturer, now is when I would be cutting.

So, did your HP, Samsung and/or Brother printer(s) come through unscathed?

JUST ANNOUNCED! The new Mac mini.
