Jobs’ biological father speaks of regret

Abdulfattah John Jandali is Steve Jobs’ 80-year-old biological father, a political science PhD and Syrian immigrant. He says he didn’t know the Edison of our age was his son until a couple years ago and now he’d like to “have just one coffee with him just once…”
Jandali says that Joanne Schieble Simpson, Jobs’ biological mother, wouldn’t marry because of family pressure, necessitating putting their love child up for adoption in San Francisco.
She did not want to bring shame onto the family and thought this was the best for everyone. Now I just live in hope that, before it is too late, he will reach out to me … I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t sadden me to have not been part of my son’s incredible journey — Jandali
Jandali is currently the vice president of a Reno, NV casino and also the father of novelist Mona Simpson.
Wow, drama and here we all sit mouths agape, waiting for the next nugget…
