Camino 2.0.8 quashes bugs, bad SSL certificates

All sorts of people have gotten their knickers in a twist over the SSL certificate issue and rightly so — dangerous stuff that. And, on the same day that Apple got its DigiNotar act together, the lads at CaminoBrowser.org delivered, as well.

Camino 2.0.8 (blog), the browser so smart it blocks Flash by default, is now available for download. Yes, it’s just a point update, but it offers improved bad SSL certificate handling. That means you need to edit the certificates yourself, which is the method I prefer — i.e. read who’s been hacked and take action versus waiting for Apple, Google, Mozilla, etc. to get their act together.
