OS X Lion screensavers: Get X-Galaxy, X-Vortex free
The more geeky goodness you can pack into an thing, the better. Thereupon, Multithemes has doubled down by offering a pair of OS X Lion screensavers that match the operating system’s default Aurora desktop picture — space, Lion, hypnotic visuals, free, cool.
Although Multithemes specifically warns against using these screensavers on multiple monitors, both X-Galaxy and X-Vortex seem to work just fine on my 2008 iMac + 17-inch second monitor just fine — your mileage may vary.
X-Galaxy is a OS X-style nebula screensaver that is animated, full 3D version of the same concept, the effect achieved is truly fantastic and hypnotic.
