Taco HTML Edit 3.0 roars its Lion cred

6 October 2011 545 views No Comment

Need to edit HTML and/or PHP? If you ask around, a fair number of people will tell you to get Taco Edit and that’s pretty good advice. And, like the better software makers that offer that products on the Mac App Store, Taco HTML is also available as a 30-day trial.

Taco Software Taco HTML Edit 3.0 (version history) packs a lot of Lion-flavored goodness, as well as scores of other new features, tweaks and fixes:

The New iPod touch from MacMall.com• Autosave: Documents are automatically saved while you edit them; it is no longer necessary to manually save documents in Mac OS X 10.7. “Save As…” is replaced by the “Duplicate” command
• Versions: Allows you to view, restore previous document versions
• Resume: Will restore open windows after quitting and re-opening the app
• Full Screen: Edit documents in full-screen mode
• Open tabs are now remembered and restored when re-opening projects
• Code Folding allows you to collapse text segments in the editor, with disclosure triangles appearing in the document gutter to provide fold suggestions
• The Error Checking user interface has been completely revamped
• Two new Components: Video Player and Modal Dialog

You can get a 30-day trial here or purchase it outright: Taco HTML Edit 3.0 (App Store, $24.99).

iTunes, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store
