Time ships Steve Jobs commemorative issue

After the Edison of our age shed his mortal coil on Wednesday, Time announced that it had cancelled its regular issue and would quickly release a special commemorative issue celebrating the life and achievements of the Apple confounder, former CEO and Chairman Steve Jobs — that has now arrived and is available on your iPad (and newsstands, too).
TIME Magazine for iPad (App Store) is free. Individual issues, including the Jobs commemorative edition, sell for $4.99 and, of course, print subscribers get it for “free.”
That said, it is jammed packed with never before seen photos of Jobs and also includes an exclusive preview of Walter Isaacson’s authorized biography, Steve Jobs, which ships Monday, October 24.
I haven’t used Time for iPad previously, but I’m rather impressed with the quality and features. Regardless, if you’re a Jobs fan, then this is an absolute must have…
What’s your take?
