Evernote updated for Mac, iOS

Simultaneous point updates for both the Mac and iPhone version of Evernote bring numerous tweaks and fixes that promise resolutions to a host of known issues, as well as improved note search. What’s new? Step inside for details and some bullet points.
Evernote has announced the release of Evernote 3.0.4 for Mac, which packs a range of changes above and below the bonnet. Specifically, the call out improvements to the Lion Favorites Bar and how that makes finding notes and tags easier.
“Click on Notebooks or Tags in the Favorites Bar — you’ll see a list appear topped with a search bar,” writes Andrew Sinkov. “As you type into the search bar the list filters down to only the relevant results, much faster than scrolling the left panel.”
And, here are the bullet points:

• Note editing: improvements to handling of todo checkboxes
• Sync on Exit: now Evernote for Mac can optionally sync before quitting
• Simplified Chinese
• Fixed bug that interfered w/ Spotlight searches that included notes
• Fixed bug that caused some exports to HTML to fail to display images
• Fix bug which caused fullscreen thumbnail dates to be incorrect
• Fix bug when merging notes
• Fix bug when performing a wildcard date search
• Fix a bug that caused location-based searching to fail
• Other bug fixes and stability improvements
Regarding Evernote 4.1.5 (iOS), nearly a dozen issues are listed, most of the annoying variety (i.e. font handing and odd crashes).
Both of these updates can be accessed via the respective app stores — Evernote (iOS) and Evernote (Mac App Store).
