Coding for fun and profit? A software simian in service of the man. Well, the man has updated development tools for you. No big changes in this Xcode release, but it’s good to keep it fresh.

Apple has released Xcode 4.2.1, which comes to the world with a modest set of changes cooked into the sauce:

Easily Create 3D Art and Animation!• Fixes an issue where the “Convert to Objective-C ARC” operation would not complete

• Resolves issue that resulted in no visible dev profiles in Organizer

• Corrects an erroneous locked file dialog appearing in documentation window.

Xcode is available for free on the Mac App Store — if you’ve been looking for the fixes in this release, fire up the App Store app and click updates.
