Apple releases MacBook Pro, MacBook, Mac mini firmware updates

If you’ve installed the diskless version of Apple’s OS X Lion and need to perform a repair or reinstall, then having proper access to Internet recovery mode is rather important. That said, these three firmware updaters address issues related to just that vis-a-vis the 2010 iterations of Apple’s MacBook Pro, discontinued MacBook and Mac mini.

— This update enables Lion Recovery from an Internet connection on Mac mini (Mid 2010) models and addresses an issue where the setting to restart after a power failure may not be retained.
