How do you know someone's peeing on your leg and telling you it's raining? When they only mention percentages.
For example, 3 is 300% of 1.

All this Kindle talk means shit if you don't have hard numbers. For example, if there are 10 million Android tablets and you say that there are as many Kindles as there are Android tablets. Then we could come to the conclusion that they were 10 million Kindles sold.

Now, bragging about Kindles sold and anything Amazon really borders on pure stupidly and the dotcom bubble crash. Let me explain. Amazon's profits drop 40% last quarter. For any other company this would signal a need for crisis management. But not Amazon. Investors should really be asking is Amazon's business model sustainable? Based on profits dropping 40%, my answer would be no. But hey I'm not rocket scientist.

Let me put this in prespective 11,900/120 ~ 100 or Apple's profits were 100 times that of Amazon's last quarter. Apple's profits are going up. Amazon's are not.
