I run SL and keep the system up to date and will do so as long as Apple and Oracle support Snow Leopard. One needs to keep in mind that those who continue to run SL do so because, frankly, Lion is problematic, troublesome and not ready for prime time - and yet it's out there. Apple would do well to wise up to the fact that it has a problem OS release on its hands. It can't even get AFP file sharing straight. I'll at least look seriously at Windows 8 when it's released. I can run that in Parallels even though the MacPro won't be able to run Mountain Lion. There's some supreme irony in that.
