Apple has deliver a Lion update, os x 10.7.4, and Lion Cache Cleaner is ready with an update of its own.

One of the reasons I prefer Lion Cache Cleaner over other products is that Northern Softworks is “johnny on the spot” with updates whenever Apple delivers new code. On Wednesday afternoon, Apple shipped OS X 10.7.4 and later that evening Lion Cache Cleaner was ready for download — love it.

Lion Cache Cleaner 6.0.11 is available now and comes to market with the following under-the-hood changes:

• Improves internet cache cleaning
• Adds the ability to override and disable the reopen windows when logging in
• Adds support for OS X 10.7.4
• Minor optimizations and improvements

That said, Lion Cache Cleaner is regular part of my Mac maintenance routine, something I run about every 10 to 14 days. Additionally, although I run ClamXav every night while I sleep, LLC offers integration with this popular open-source-based antivirus app, allowing you to run it as part of an overall AppleScript-based maintenance program — smart.

If you’re ready to buy, get Lion Cache Cleaner on the Amazon Mac App Store ($9.99). The app is also available direct from Northern Softworks — download here.

In related news, Cocktail 5.3 is now available and OS X 10.7.4 ready.
