Steve Jobs does ‘One more thing’ 30 times
Beat the drum. Steve Jobs was a master showman and could hold an audience rapt in wonder for hours, hanging on his every word. Nevertheless, the crowning moment of dozens of keynotes was his signature line, “One more thing,” (clips below the fold) followed by (just as often as not) something truly amazing.
That said, Robin Parrish at Apple Gazette has pulled together all 30 of those moments, from the toilet seat iBook through a hula hoop to Jobs last in 2011, and embedded the videos on a single page — a lot of work and Robin is to be applauded for thinking it up and following through.
You can view the beginning and end of Jobs’ “one more thing” über meme below.
Whereas the article states that the vids are all cued to the moment, they didn’t play that way for me even with ClickToFlash turned off. C’est vie — these are timeless moments and perhaps all the more enjoyable if they go on a little…
What’s your take?
My personal favorite was the original “one more thing” from Macworld New York in 1999.
