Cocktail 6: Mountain Lion ready, save 25% percent

Back when Lion shipped last July, I praised Lion Cache Cleaner for being the first to ship an OS X 10.7 compatible product. I’m not saying Cocktail creator Maintain heard me, but this time around the Swedes delivered faster.

That said, Cocktail 6 is now available and it arrives with one big difference over version 5.0 (Lion): “Cocktail 6.0 (Mountain Lion Edition) is tested for compatibility with OS X Mountain Lion and OS X Mountain Lion Server (version 10.8, build 12A256).”

For those not in the know, Cocktail is an OS X maintenance and performance optimization utility — Mac running slow? Get Cocktail.

Also, Maintain is running a 25 percent off special on Cocktail, which means a single-user license is going for $14. Of course, the Lion and Snow Leopard versions are still very much available for those unwilling or unable to pull the trigger on Mountain Lion.
