It’s the free app of the week! The good people at Rovio are offering Angry Birds Seasons, part of the company’s billion-download smash hit game franchise, for free. Like, free, as in beer. And, yes, Angry Birds Seasons HD for the iPad is free this week, too.

Angry Birds is far and away the best-loved game on the iPhone and iPad. Frankly, I doubt anything else comes close.

Perhaps to insure legacy, or maybe the folks at Rovio are really cool, Angry Birds Seasons and Seasons HD (iPad) are free all of this week.
