NeoOffice 3.3: Mountain Lion, GateKeeper, Retina support added

Though NeoOffice appears to have outward modernity of OS X Tiger, developer Planamesa advertises that the current release is fully up-to-date with OS X Mountain Lion feature compatibility baked right in. Well, they must have put it somewhere.
Running OS X 10.8 and a need a cheap, full-featured Microsoft Office compatible productivity suite? Then NeoOffice 3.3 (features) should be at the top of your list of candidates:

Yup, in order to download NeoOffice, you must first pay $10 or be able to prove that payment has been made in the last year. “Donationware” they’re calling it.

NeoOffice is a great bargain at $10. The software was free until 2010 or 2011 I think, and they started charging then. I don’t have any problem paying $10 that replaces Word and Excel for me, saving me hundreds of dollars in license fees.
As far as I know you don’t pay per user or per computer so theoretically you are just paying to download the software, not for the software license.
I use it all the time, daily and for work. There are some funky things with macros, and colors when you open an excel file created in excel from time to time. The new version of office will support the open office format which should eliminate this problem.
