Black Ops for Mac shipping Sept 27
Aspyr Media’s Call of Duty: Black Ops originally shipped for the PC, PS4 and Xbox 360 back in 2010 and the company has finally announced a Mac ship date for the popular first person shooter. So, Black Ops for Mac will arrive on Thursday, September 27 for $50 and will come bundled with the First Strike Content Pack DLC — all good.
Aspyr let it be known back in June that Black Ops was coming to the Mac. Now the game maker has announced a date.
Black Ops for Mac will sell through Steam (no SteamPlay), GameAgent and other online outlets, including the Mac App Store — no placeholder page just yet.
That said, Aspyr is still celebrating the upcoming release — the company began the offer back in June — with 50 percent discounts on all three currently available Call of Duty titles:
• Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, $19.99
— System Requirements: Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, 1GB RAM, 8.0GB HDD, 1GB Swap File, ATI Radeon X1600 (and up) or NVidia Geforce 7300 (and up)

For what it’s worth Amazon has also marked CoD games down, with some prices lower than the Mac App Store — Amazon Call of Duty Sale. Shipping charges likely will apply.
