Ashton Kutcher is jOBS

Eerily similar is one way of describing the above photos. For long-time Steve Jobs watchers, however, the appearance is only skin deep. That said, the world will find out whether or not the Ashton Kutcher led jOBS bio-pic goes deeper when the film premieres on January 27 at the Sundance Film Festival.
How geeky is that? Actually, that particular date is a pretty important one in tech history. It was on January 27 back in 2010 that Steve Jobs introduced (video below) the original iPad and the world has been forever changed.
Yeah, Kutcher and the people behind jOBS really want us to buy in and believe. The film covers the period 1971 through 2011 and Jobs death, which could mean we will be seeing Kutcher uttering the now famous words, “Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow.”
Are you looking forward to seeing Ashton Kutcher as Jobs in jOBS or does the thought of the Two And A Half Men star aping the Apple cofounder give you the willies?
It’s hard to imagine how this will turn out well for anyone — the fans, producers and, perhaps least of all, Kutcher…
What’s your take?
