BitTorrent Surf Extension for Chrome Arrives

Still torrenting? Here is an interesting and, one suspects, convenient way to do it. Search for and download torrents directly from within Google Chrome using the BitTorrent Surf Extension (demo video below) — no stand alone client required, which is kind of cool.
“For the past six months, we’ve been working on a new web client alpha,” the company writes. “Today, we’re excited to invite you to try it. Say hi to Surf. And start downloading content, directly from your browser.”
If that browser happens to be Google’s Chrome, though a version for Firefox is said to be in the pipe.
Get the Bittorrent Surf extension on the Chrome Web Store — it’s in alpha, so caveat emptor.
The BitTorrent Surf Extension for Chrome could prove to be a real boon for law enforcement — one-stop shopping of your entire browsing and torrenting history.
