Fire up your copy of Firefox for Mac, lads and ladies, the inevitable point-update that follows every whole number release is here. Further, Mozilla has just been busy with Firefox 19b1 and SeaMonkey 2.1.5 now also walking the streets.

Give Mozilla a week, at least in the present case, and they will give you an incremental update. So, here comes Firefox 18.0.1, which is all about bug fixes:

• [fix] Problems involving HTTP Proxy Transactions
• [fix] Unity player crashes on Mac OS X
• Disabled HIDPI support on external monitors to avoid rendering glitches
Full bug list

With version 18 in the release channel, Mozilla has also pushed outFirefox 19b1 (release notes, download) with the big feature being an integrated PDF viewer:

• Built-in PDF viewer
• Firefox will offer to reset the Awesomebar search provider, if it has been changed by third-party software or through about:config
• Canvas elements can export their content as an image blob using canvas.toBlob()
• Startup performance improvements
• And scores or other features, tweaks and fixes

Lastly, on the browser side of things, there is also SeaMonkey 2.1.5, which adds the new IonMonkey JS engine, very much like Firefox 18.
