Most whole number releases don't bring the goodness baked into Cyberduck 4.3, my go to Mac FTP app. New stuff includes support for Notifications, Gatekeeper and Retina displays

Most whole number releases don’t bring the goodness baked into Cyberduck 4.3, my go to Mac FTP app. New stuff includes support for Mountain Lion features like Notification, Gatekeeper and Retina displays, though interesting features have been removed, too, like Dropbox and Google Drive support.

“In a spring cleaning effort we have removed support for Dropbox, Google Drive and Azure in Cyberduck for the upcoming 4.3 release,” writes David Kocher. “This allows us to focus on improving support for S3 and open cloud storage standards (speak Open Stack Swift) and the long supported FTP/SFTP and WebDAV protocols.”

• CyberDuck 4.3 (download)
— Arabic Localization, as well as scores of other languages
— Retina resolution support
— Notification center support
— Gatekeeper support
— Drops support for Dropbox connections
— Drops support for Google Drive connections (Google Docs)
— Bug fixes and more

Yes, Cyberduck is a free, open-source Mac FTP app, though developer David Kocher welcomes donations — get Cyberduck on the Mac App Store ($23.99).
