The iPhone will soon be dead and Apple’s killing it! Well, that’s kind true. However, today’s Mac update report factually details what’s new with Little Snitch and Mountain Lion Cache Cleaner, and has tasty deals and knows where you (should) buy coffee — pour yourself a fresh cup and step inside.

Apple is obsoleting the original iPhone, meaning the company will no longer provide parts and service. Gentlemen, and Grumpy Cat, remove your hats and observe a moment of silence on June 11.

• Little Snitch 3.1 (download)
— Automatic Profile Switching (i.e. location, network aware)
— In the menu bar item “Silent Mode” and “Start/Stop Network Filter” entries are now hidden if “Allow Preferences Editing” is disabled
— Improved “Restore Factory Defaults” feature
— Updated help section to reflect changes mentioned above
— Fixed a bug which caused a kernel panic in some rare cases
— Minor other bugfixes and improvements

What do you do? Chances are whatever tools you need, you could be getting them for less. That said, the good people at Stack Social are running a series of specials — The Mac Productivity Bundle 4.0, Toast 11 ($49.99), The Name Your Own Price Mac Bundle 2.0 — wherein you will find something really cool for a lot less money.

Mountain Lion Cache Cleaner 7.0.8 (download)
— Makes improvements to the System log cleaning
— Adds the ability clean user activity logs
— The MLCC Engine reports to its own dedicated log instead of the Console log
— Updates ClamAV to version 0.97.8
— Minor optimizations and improvements

Coffee — it’s what’s for breakfast and, here at the Fairer Platform, lunch and dinner, too! Of course, we appreciate quality beans and grinds, which makes Starbucks 20 percent off sale (Canada) a must see!

And, if you’re in the market for a iPad mini, Walmart is selling the 16GB iPad mini (wifi) for just $299 — the best price on the web!
