Need to pick a new Apple Magic Mouse or Trackpad? Chances are there is a RadioShack store somewhere nearby your home or office. Now, the consumer electronics retailer has begun offering Mac accessories, but you will probably want to call or order ahead.

With 7,000 locations worldwide, RadioShack is easily the biggest electronics reseller on the planet. As most of those stores are quite small, you’ve got to wonder how many, if any, Mac accessories they’ll stock.

To whit, the lads at 9 to 5 Mac add that only the chain’s 4,700 US stores will carry, to some degree or another, Mac accessories.

That said, call ahead to make sure they’ve got the gear you want. Alternately, you can purchase on RadioShack.com and have the item shipped to the closet store for free.

As of this writing, RadioShack’s Mac accessory selection is limited to mice, trackpads and Airport wi-fi, as well as a good number of iPod, iPad and iPhone items, like EarPods, earbuds, cables and chargers.

Recently, Staples began offering a similar selection of Apple accessories.

A good reason to start shopping at Radio, or Staples for that matter, for your Apple branded widgets?
