Are you ready for the

Are you ready for the “endless potential” of Mozilla’s new Social API? Social network, e-mail, finance, music, cloud possibilities, services, to-do lists, sports, news and other applications integrated into Firefox 21. Wowsers (maybe, kind of) and there’s a slightly updated user interface, too, and other shtuff.

• Firefox 21.0 (download)
— The Social API now supports multiple providers
— Enhanced three-state UI for Do Not Track (DNT)
— Firefox will suggest how to improve your application startup time if needed
— Preliminary implementation of Firefox Health Report
— Fully massive buglist

For what it’s worth, I’ve noticed a new downloads button next to the address bar, though not really seeing the “social” bit of this update (yet). Additionally, site icons seem to have been refreshed, as well, and I can confirm the faster startup is, in fact, faster.

The one feature I would love to see is improved JavaScript handling. Specifically, the handling of bad scripts.

What are you seeing in Firefox 21? Sound off in the comments, peeps…
